Honouring winners of Sharjah Excellence Leadership Award on July 2

Sharjah24: Under the gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, the Sharjah Sports Council will host the awards ceremony for the winners of the first edition of the Sharjah Sports Excellence Leadership Program.

The ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, July 2, at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah. The Higher Organising Committee, led by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman bin Sultan, has been holding regular meetings in recent weeks to ensure that all arrangements are completed in time for the announcement of the winners at the event.

Evaluation Phase Completed

The committee carried out field visits in February and March prior to receiving submissions in April. A total of 40 evaluators were involved in evaluating the entries to help determine the winners of this inaugural edition. The program is designed to promote the values of sportsmanship, transparency, and professionalism, with the aim of positioning Sharjah as a global leader in developing and implementing models of sports excellence. This initiative aligns with the Council's strategy to enhance the effectiveness of sports institutions in the emirate.

The ceremony will include honouring winners in different categories.
