Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) signed the age-friendly commitment document, within the framework of renewing the initiative launched by the Sharjah Age-Friendly Office of the Sharjah Social Services Department.
The signing comes within the SSC’s societal responsibilities to take into account the elderly, and to enhance the UAE's approach in this aspect and to achieve the goals of the document, especially since Sharjah is a member of the global network of age-friendly cities since 2016.
The event was held at the SSC headquarters, with presence of Saeed Ali Al Ajeel, Sports Expert, and Asma Al Khodari, Director of the Sharjah Age-Friendly Office, along with Mohammed Ali bin Hammad, Director of the Government Communications Department, Khawla Salem Al Ajeel, Administrative Assistant, and Afra Al Mashgoni, Head of the Public Relations Department in the Government Communications Department at SSC.
