Sharjah24: Former Mexican President Felipe Calderon visited the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, where he toured the museums and highly commended the chronological progression of the Holy Qur'an, as well as the splendor of the Quranic calligraphy, the Academy's architecture, and the magnificence of its displays.

Calderon applauded His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his efforts and his devotion to culture, both of which contributed to Sharjah's global reputation.

Dr. Eng. Khalifa Al Tunaiji, president of the Holy Qur'an Academy, led the trip together with Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, secretary general of the Holy Qur'an Academy, and a team of expert guides from the academy's Museums Department.
