The celebration is in recognition of the pioneering work done by the authority's male and female engineers in implementing the authority's groundbreaking projects in the fields of electricity, water, and natural gas, and their outstanding role in supporting the construction and development process in the Emirate of Sharjah under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Executive Director of Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas, Abdullah Al Shamsi, spoke highly of the authority's engineers, praising them for their work in developing the authority's integrated work system, which allows for the study and implementation of projects, as well as the monitoring and maintenance of operational systems.
He also said that the authority is interested in improving the skills of its engineers by sending them to workshops and conferences, encouraging them to get master's and doctoral degrees, and letting them talk to each other about the latest scientific and practical trends in the engineering field.
