Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) reviewed its experience of rationalizing consumption in parks in the Emirate of Sharjah and the results it achieved in this field, as part of its participation in the eleventh workshop for electrical and water rationalization organised by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
Rashid Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director of the Conservation Department, and Ahmed Al-Mihdhar, Head of the Technical Support Department, participated in the workshop.

The working paper reviewed the results achieved by the project, as water amounts to 105,561,217 gallons were saved annually. In the first phase, 95,340,000 gallons were saved annually, and in the second phase: 5,548,000 gallons annually, in the third phase: 4,673,217 gallons annually.
