Sharjah 24: A delegation from the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) participated in the activities of the Power Projects Forum in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), held in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of exchanging experiences, identifying opportunities for growth and investments in the field of energy.
His Excellency Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), stated that the authority is keen to develop the skills of national cadres through continuous training and specialised workshops, participation in local and international conferences, forums, exchanging visions, and ideas on the latest practical and scientific trends.
His Excellency pointed out that the forum is an opportunity to learn about the latest experiences, interact with the participants and review the strategy and efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah in the field of energy and investments in the field of production to accommodate the growth of energy demand, strengthen networks and move towards reliance on clean energy.
