Sharjah 24: The Municipality of Khorfakkan's Operations and Inspection Supervisor, Abdullah Murad Al Raisi, has stated that as of Monday, paid parking devices will be operational in four tourist sites and key roadways.
He told “Sharjah 24” that 2,700 parking spots are available along Corniche Street, Sheikh Khalid Al Qasimi Street, in the neighbourhood of Al Rafisah Dam Rest House, and at Shis Park.
As Al Raisi also mentioned, the local government waived parking fees for senior citizens.
The project's goal is to improve circulation, regulate traffic, and provide parking near the major attractions, as indicated by the Supervisor of Operations and Inspections in the Municipality of Khorfakkan.
