Khorfakkan municipality appreciates diverse development movement

His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Council, in special statements to “Sharjah 24”, extended his deepest thanks and gratitude to His Highness the Ruler, for renewing confidence in the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan.

Education
Al Naqbi said that Khorfakkan is fortunate with the generous care accorded by Sharjah Ruler, which has achieved a huge leap in recent years at all levels. At the level of the education sector, Khorfakkan University was opened a few days ago, and before that the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and work is underway at Victoria International School, considering that these huge projects it enhances the educational and cultural movement in the city.

Tourism
He added that Khorfakkan recently witnessed the inauguration of a large number of diverse tourist projects, including the cloud rest, Al Rabi and Al Adwani towers, Najd Al Maqsar village, and the old market, to which was recently added the Al-Rayhain Inn, a 4-star hotel that is unique in its architectural character, location and hospitality services, noting that the tourism sector It is witnessing remarkable prosperity in Khorfakkan, qualifying it for a prominent position locally and regionally.

Infrastructure
His Excellency added: "To complement the vision of His Highness the Ruler and to enhance the comprehensive renaissance in Khorfakkan, a package of new projects is underway, including the development of Al Luluiya Beach, the completion of the development of Khorfakkan Corniche and Beach Street, as well as the development of Cinema Street and the Ring Road in the Al-Hari area, in addition to starting work in establishing Al Jubail Market, Khorfakkan branch, which includes new markets for fish, meat and vegetables, to represent a huge added value for the commercial sector in the city.
