Sharjah24: Khalfan Rashid Al Mughni, head of the Municipal Operations and Inspection Department in Khorfakkan Municipality, revealed the completion of the second phase of the project to provide rescue, security and safety services at Al Zubarah Beach.
In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", he explained that the first phase included the provision of services at Khorfakkan Beach, and the project, which was carried out after contracting with a company specialised in the field of rescue, is concerned with providing professional lifeguards equipped with all the necessary rescue equipment and providing first aid in case of drowning accidents.
He pointed out that 34 lifeguards were distributed, including 25 lifeguards along the area designated for swimming at Khorfakkan Beach, and 9 lifeguards at Al Zubarah Beach, to monitor the beaches from sunrise to sunset daily.
The singer confirmed the provision of all the necessary needs to enhance rescue and ambulance procedures, including observation platforms, water bikes for rapid intervention, first aid tools and other advanced equipment.
