Sharjah 24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) received a delegation from the Australian University of Melbourne during a visit to SM's central laboratories, and departments, to learn about its devices, human competencies and systems that enhance its leadership in the field of sample analysis and inspection.
This came in the presence of Sheikha Dr. Naglaa Ali Al Mualla, Director of the Central Laboratories Department, Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, Dr. Warwick Bayly, Professor of Equine Medicine in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Washington State University, and Dr. John Fazakerley, Dean of the College of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Melbourne.
In this context, Sheikha Dr. Naglaa Ali Al Mualla confirmed that this visit reflects the success of the SM in attracting universities and researchers to learn about its successful experiences in the areas of municipal work, including analysing samples in its laboratories.
She stated that the visiting delegation was briefed on the pioneering experience of SM in the field of health and the best practices related to Sharjah food safety programmes and services. In addition to discussing ways to enhance cooperation with the visiting delegation.
