At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness welcomed the delegation and commended on the close relations with various international and specialized institutions and universities, which is reflected in the development of education systems through benefiting from experiences and joint scientific projects.
The meeting discussed ways of joint cooperation with the University of Queensland in many scientific and academic fields, including the development of bachelor's programmes in veterinary medicine and agriculture, and master's programmes to be offered at the University of Dhaid.
During the meeting, Sharjah’s environment initiatives were discussed , including the establishment of natural reserves, research and scientific centers specialized in seeds, desert sciences, food security projects and the establishment of pastures that preserve environmental natural resources, enhance their reproduction and contribute to the settlement of many plants and animals.
