Sharjah24: Within the agenda of Al Hamriyah Municipality’s activities to cooperate with Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club in launching programmes, events and initiatives targeting participants in the twenty-eighth Al Hamriyah Summer Forum 2022, the municipality intensified its efforts to cooperate in the success of the activities and programs of the summer forum, which was held by the Hamriyah Club. And under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council in the Government of Sharjah.
Al Hamriyah Municipality work team was presented by the Institutional Interaction Department; A workshop entitled "The future of the environment in your bag" aims to educate the participating children about the importance of preserving the environment and highlighting the importance of reducing pollution, in addition to the importance of using environmentally friendly bags instead of plastic bags.
Asmaa Al Muhairi and Sheikha Al Shamsi from the Public Relations Department of Al Hamriyah Municipality introduced the participants in Al Hamriyah Summer Forum to the most important ways of environmental recycling and presented an interactive workshop on the damages of plastic to public health and the environment, in addition to learning about the benefits of recycling in reducing pollution of seas, oceans and rivers.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, stated that the municipality’s participation comes to achieve many results and objectives, which are represented in developing the skills of the participants in the Hamriyah Forum, as well as creating an atmosphere of joy and a spirit of cooperation between the participants and work teams in the Forum.
