Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), stated, "In the twenty-second edition of the Narrator Summer Camp, we focus on the children to learn from traditional narratives and tales and to interact with heritage and its stories, which contributes to enhancing the sustainability of heritage and passing it on to future generations."
The environment of the camp allows children to learn, discover, and develop talents, as well as express their creativity through interaction within workshops covering a wide range of topics.
Arab Heritage Centre Director Aisha Al Hussan Al Shamsi says that traditional and popular narratives and stories stimulate the imagination, encourage reading and learning, and help to form a generation that is both creative and considerate of its heritage, authenticity, and identity.
Many workshops are offered at the camp, the most remarkable of which are sea world arts, Arabic calligraphy, characters from the depths of the sea, storytelling workshop, mythical creatures in the sea world, writing a child's story, the young narrator, and other useful and interesting workshops.
