Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, will inaugurate on Saturday the International Forum for Arabic Language Teachers on Saturday, which is organised by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) under the slogan “Arabic is a future and an identity” at the Sharjah Education Academy building, with the participation of a group of experts, officials and workers in the bodies Teaching, administration and students.
The forum will host a group of experts and specialists, including Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah Academy in Sharjah, His Excellency Dr. Issa Saleh Al Hammadi, Director of ALECGS, and Dr. Fikri Al-Najjar from the University of Sharjah, in addition to private school administrations.
Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, confirmed that the forum aims to review the best educational practices through sessions and practical workshops that seek to identify educational developments and variables and challenges of the system in the future, leading to the development of recommendations and educational plans for teaching Arabic to native speakers and others, in a manner that is consistent with the strategy of the Sharjah Private Education Authority.
The forum highlights the importance of the school’s role through a series of sessions based on four axes that are consistent with the aspirations and objectives of the Sharjah Special Education Authority in promoting and supporting the Arabic language and emphasizing the importance of its embodiment in classrooms in schools.
