Sharjah24: Based on the directives of Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), and Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of SAA, every effort has been made to ensure the comfort of pilgrims travelling via Sharjah Airport this year, according to Ali Ahmed, Head of the Customer Service Department at Sharjah Airport.

Ahmed told "Sharjah 24" that a counter has been set up for pilgrims to drop off their luggage and complete the rest of the travel process as quickly as possible, as well as a special passport control area and a platform to receive them before they board the plane, where quick medical examinations are conducted and souvenirs are distributed. In addition, they get access to a lounge with an assortment of hospitality services.
