Sharjah 24: As part of the improvement review visits initiative, the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) announced the commencement of improvement and development team visits to Sharjah private schools. The visit programme is proceeding as planned, with outstanding support and cooperation from all administrative and teaching bodies at the targeted private schools.
The authority collaborated with the Education Development Centre (IDT), a global organisation that specialises in evaluating and reviewing school performance, to undertake the project, which is one of the most notable initiatives, in order to better prepare for a comprehensive evaluation in the coming academic years, which is consistent with the authority's aims and guidelines for encouraging holistic review.
 
Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, praised the efforts of His Highness Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. She pointed out that His Highness' directives represent a clear signal to us that we are moving towards excellence and achievement, and she stated that the project is proceeding according to the approved plan,
 
According to Ali Al Hosani, director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, the authority prioritises developing Sharjah's private education sector. He said that the goal of the authority's strategic plan was to change the quality of the whole system so that the Emirates could reach their goal.
 
Mr Ziad Shatat, Director of the Continuous Improvement Department and Project Manager, stressed the significance of the Sharjah Private Education Authority's "Improvement Review Visits Project," emphasising the importance of school education as part of a comprehensive and integrative education process.
 
The Sharjah Private Education Authority got together with the heads of private schools to talk about "Improvement Review Visits" and the guidebook that goes with them.
