They also visited the three injured in the traffic accident at Al Dhaid Hospital in Sharjah.
The delegation of the Sharjah Private Education Authority was headed by Professor Ali Al Hosani, Director of the Sharjah Private Education Authority, accompanied by included Dr. Saeed Al Kaabi, Chairman of SPEA, and Mohammed Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Education Council, and other government offcials.
Al Hosani affirmed the authority’s keenness on students safety, and its ongoing efforts to take all necessary measures to maintaining students’ safety as a priority. He stressed the need for concerted efforts by all parties to reduce the occurrence of accidents, adding that the authority will continue to achieve its safety plans by providing more proactive solutions and cooperating with various parties to raise the drivers’ awareness, including parents and others to take precaution.
SPEA’s Chairman considered that raising traffic awareness is a significant issue on which the authority relies on instilling the concept of traffic culture among students, in addition to the measures it takes related to public safety. The authority initiatives have been launched in this regard to enhance safe return for students, most notably the "Your Children are Safe" initiative, which allows parents to track their children's journeys on school buses through a smart application.
