Sharjah24: Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) held a bilateral meeting, which included a visiting delegation from the Transportation Services Development Company (Rafid) from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Emirates Transport, with the aim of reviewing the "Your Children are Safe" Platform project launched by the authority in the year 2020, in addition to discussing ways of joint cooperation.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Ali Al Hosani, Director of SPEA, and on the part of Emirates Transport, it was attended by Jassem Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of the School Transport Sector, and Fahd Muhammad Al Hammad, Director of Strategy and Sector Development from Tatweer Saudi Company.

His Excellency Ali Al Hosani welcomed the attendees, stressing the keenness of the Authority to strengthen its internal and external partnerships to serve educational and educational issues, and to be keen on exchanging ideas and experiences, noting that the authority, based on the vision of its wise leadership for the future, seeks to achieve its vision, mission, objectives and core values in developing the educational system to reach the world.
 
Al Hosani briefed the visiting delegation on the "Your Children Are Safe" project launched by the authority two years ago, through which it was able to make a qualitative leap in the school transport system at the level of the emirate's private schools, noting that the project, which was launched in February 2020, comes in line with the decisions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

The visiting delegation listened to a detailed explanation in addition to presenting a practical experience of the project, which is a unified platform for monitoring daily school trips for Sharjah private schools, and monitoring the performance of transport service operators and their compliance with school transport legislation.

The project, which benefits 127 private schools in Sharjah, aims to provide a safe school transportation service, which allows parents to track school buses during the trip to and from school, through the smart application “through which the bus supervisor records the students’ boarding and disembarkation from the bus using the Its application and its tablet, allowing parents to view it and follow up on their children. All trips are monitored and followed up through an operations and control room at the headquarters of the SPEA, through which the specialized staff monitors the performance and data of all buses belonging to the emirate's schools.

The platform consists of two parts, the first is your children's platform is safe, and the second is bus inspection and certification, while the platform provides many services that include a system for managing student trips, a smart phone application for parents, operating rooms, a supervisors application, and approval of hardware specifications on buses.
