Sharjah 24: Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), praised the Chairman and Board of Directors of Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) for granting four million dirhams of Zakat on the bank's assets for the year 2021 to cover tuition fees for students with disabilities who are qualified for Zakat funds under Zakat disbursement.
According to her, SCHS’s strategic collaboration and partnership agreement with Dubai Islamic Bank was signed in March, which clearly shows the bank's sincerity and adherence to the values of social responsibility and assistance. Since 2011, the bank has continued to help the city, and she thanked them for their efforts.

All students with disabilities benefit from the SCHS's annual Zakat campaign, which takes place during Ramadan to help cover the expenses of tuition for those who are unable to pay.

Furthermore, she praised the SCHS's capacity to integrate 568 pupils with disabilities into the educational system and contribute to the employment of 395 people with disabilities in government and commercial entities.

Sheikha Jameela concluded, "Education under Zakat disbursement produces stability for families and provides them with a means of living," reflecting the SCHS's campaign theme, "Your Zakat to support our education."
