Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SCC) has begun discussing ways to cooperate with the Madrid Football and Basketball Academy, ESC, licensed by the Spanish La Liga Foundation and the American League for Professional Basketball "NBA", in order to support all areas of developing the two games in the clubs of the Emirate of Sharjah.
The move came as a result of the visit. The fruitful visit of His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazzami, Chairman of the Council, recently to Spain, where he met with the officials of the Academy and reviewed all the services, activities and events it provides.
His Excellency Issa Hilal affirmed the council’s keenness to invest distinguished international expertise in the development of team and individual games in Sharjah, pointing out that the emirate enjoys very distinguished services and infrastructure thanks to the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
