Sharjah 24: The fourth shooting championship for government entities, institutions and departments, organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club in cooperation with Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club and under the supervision of the Sharjah Sports Council, will kick off on Sunday.
112 players representing the Sharjah Social Services Department, Sharjah Education Council, Real Estate Registration Department, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), Department of Housing, Expo Centre Sharjah, Sharjah Economic Development Department, Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, Seaports and Customs Authority, Sharjah Department of Human Resources and Sharjah Cooperative Society, and Sharjah Islamic Bank, will participate in the championship.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club, confirmed that the championship, in its fourth edition, comes within the sports and cultural programmes and events organised by the Sharjah Government Employees Club.
He also indicated that the club will witness the organisation of many competitions and events during the next year, such as football, table tennis, chess and swimming championships.
