Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) announced the opening of registration for Al Zahia Run 2022, held at City Center Al Zahia in Sharjah on Sunday, July 17, in cooperation with Endurance Sports Services and a number of supporting and contributing parties.

This comes as part of community events aimed at spreading the culture of sports as a way of life, to be held in conjunction with the launch of Sharjah Summer Sports Event.

The event includes running distances of: 800m, 4km and 8km, for the categories of male and female citizens, open to all ages. Registration is via the link (http://www.eevents.ae/zahia) and registration will close two days before the event.

Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the SSC, said that the success of the previous edition encouraged its continuation and development.

He affirmed confidence that the organisational team will provide the event with all the means of success.
