Successful Sharjah Government employees shooting tournament

Sharjah 24: Sharjah's Government Employees Club, Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, and Sharjah Sports Council put together and ran the fourth shooting tournament for government entities, institutes, and departments.
Al Dhaid Sports and Cultural Club Chairman Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Counsellor Hamid Ali Al Abbar, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Club, Sharjah government workers, members of the boards of directors of the two clubs, and representatives of Sharjah government entities and departments were at the competitions and the awards ceremony.

In the ladies' contests, Khulud Issa Al Farouni of the Sharjah Economic Development Department won first place, Maryam of the Sharjah Education Council won second place, and Ghaya Khalifa Al Marar of the Sharjah Investment Corporation won third place.

Abdullah Khalifa Dalmouk of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security won first place in the men's contests. Rashid Salem bin Howaida of the Department of Housing came in second, while Shivaz Zafar of Sharjah Islamic Bank came in third.
 
The Chairman of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, thanked the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club for their efforts in organising the event.

Counsellor Humaid Ali Al Abbar, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club, confirmed that this event is inspired by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and aims to provide opportunities for employees of government departments and institutions to engage in sports activities in order to improve inter-departmental communication and gain health and wellness. This benefits their social and cultural lives both physically and emotionally.

Al-Abbar thanked Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), for his diligent monitoring of the club's activities, and thanked the Sharjah Sports Council for sponsoring the competition and Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club for hosting it.
