Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) is participating in the activities of the 19th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days, held from March 10 to 28 with the participation of 33 countries, through various events and activities in cooperation with 15 clubs in a special pavilion within the event.
This comes within the SSC’s keenness to participate in the various events held in the Emirate with the aim of strengthening partnership and introducing the public to the SSC and its clubs and activities.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), stated the participation comes within the framework of activating the societal role of the SSC, which is inseparable from its sports role.
His Excellency highlighted that such efforts fall in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. In addition to the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.
His Excellency added that this is also part of the SSC's plans to communicate and integrate with various government entities and departments in the Emirate and to enhance efforts and progress of the Emirate in various fields.
