Sharjah24: Legendary Saudi music maestro Mohammed Abdu, loved as “Fanan Alarab” (Artist of the Arabs), gifted an unforgettable evening to the music lovers in Sharjah and UAE marking the finale of #Lets Khorfakkan season last night (Saturday) at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, with his unmatched performance and his bouquet of authentic Arabian Gulf music.
The sold out concert by the artist, called the ‘Father of Tarab,’ in Khorfakkan saw massive public response constantly interacting with the singer from the moment he appeared on the stage with the song "Your Voice Calls Me." 

Abdu expressed his happiness at performing at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, the new architectural masterpiece on the East Coast overlooking the picturesque Al Said Mountains and the Khorfakkan beach, and headlining the #Lets Khorfakkan" season finale. The Saudi singer also profusely thanked the fans in the UAE for their outpouring of love and support.  

The singer took the audience on an extraordinary journey of music and melodies as he recreated the magic of some of his most loved songs and biggest hits such as "The Places", "So Much I Missed", "Bint Al-Nour", "We Differ" and "My Eyes Slept" And “Suffering,” “Expensive,” “Ma’ad Badri,” and “Just like the Wind.”

The audience was electrified when he performed the popular song “Amazing” “Kalak Nazar” and repeatedly hummed its words “Wahlan…Wahlan, O people of Khorfakkan.” His magical vocals were beautifully supported and augmented by his brilliant performance on the oud. The artist bid farewell to the people of Khorfakkan, Sharjah and UAE with the song "Ayuh".

As part of the efforts to enhance the cultural and artistic presence of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre has been hosting the leading Gulf and Arab artists, and aims to be a global destination of classical and contemporary arts.
