Sharjah 24: His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi, Board Member of Sharjah Sports Club and Head of the Legal Affairs Department, received a delegation headed by Marcos Motta, head of the Brazilian “Bichara e Motta” legal group specialised in sports issues, at the club’s headquarters in Samnan.
The meeting was held in the presence of Waheed Marwan Arafat, CEO of Sharjah Football Company from the Sharjah Club side, while the Brazilian side was represented by the group's partner, Bichara Abidão, and the Brazilian players' agent, Cadimos Barros.
Both sides discussed the details of legal issues and common clauses in the sports federations of the two countries, as well as prospects for legal cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two parties, and benefiting from the global expertise of the Brazilian group that provides legal advice to the Brazilian Football Confederation, the Brazilian Olympic Committee and a number of international and Gulf clubs.
Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi described the meeting as fruitful and useful, whereas it comes within the framework of the openness of the legal office of the Sharjah Sports Club to international expertise in the legal field, and its constant quest to benefit from experiences in developed countries, raising the efficiency of the club’s legal arm, avoiding disputes and dealing in advance with issues that may arise.
Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi stressed the administration's constant endeavour to communicate with international legal institutions and exchange ideas and experiences that facilitate their work in the club's legal office.
At the end of the visit, Al Hammadi offered Marcos Motta, Sharjah Sports Club shirt and shield.
