Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club briefed the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) on the various efforts to rationalise energy through the application of the rationalisation initiative.
Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club received a delegation of the Sharjah Sports Council, by His Excellency Ibrahim Saeed Baghdad Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors.
SSC delegation included Abdullah Hussein Al Ali, director of the support services department, head of the clubs race for rationalisation, accompanied by Hani Muhammad Al Qasim, a member and arbitrator in the rationalisation committee. From Dibba Al Hisn Club, Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, director of the Institutional Communication Department, head of the community culture committee, and Mohammed Rashid Rashoud, deputy head of the committee, Mohammed Khalifa Al Nuaimi, club manager, and members of the club's rationalisation committee.
The visit came within the framework of the Sharjah Sports Council's follow-up of the community initiatives for energy and water conservation with the Sharjah sports and specialised clubs, including Dibba Al Hisn Club.
His Excellency Ibrahim Saeed Baghdad Al Darmaki, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, welcomed the delegation and briefed them on all the efforts of Dibba Al Hisn Club and introduced them to the club’s activities in rationalisation and challenges to ensure the achievement of the desired goals of the race.
His Excellency Ibrahim Saeed Baghdad Al Darmaki pointed out that the club seeks to spread a culture of awareness about the importance of the environment and urge to preserve and protect resources based on the responsibility of the Council and the clubs in rationalising electricity and water and urging the sports community to adopt strategies to preserve the environment and energy efficiency.
The delegation of Sharjah Sports Council toured all events and activities implemented within the Dibba Al Hisn Club, and attended a remote lecture entitled "By rationalisation, blessings last”, presented by His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Abdul Karim from the Department of Islamic Affairs where community members participated from inside and outside the club, where he inferred from the Holy Quran and hadiths the importance of rationalisation.
