Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) is participating in the activities of the UAE Innovation Month, which are held during the period from 14-18 February at the University of Sharjah, by introducing a number of innovations.
Maha Al Ali, Director of Government Communications at the SSSD, stressed the importance of the event, which coincides with the UAE’s celebration of its golden jubilee, pointing out that the UAE Innovation Month is an important national event, as it aims to consolidate a culture of government innovation and enhance community participation in creating future initiatives.
Al Ali added that the event constitutes an occasion to present the most important achievements of the department in social services for groups and individuals benefiting from its services, which keep pace with societal developments.
The Director of the Government Communication Department at the SSSD indicated that the projects presented to the public are among the department's efforts that are consistent with the directions of the Emirate of Sharjah, towards adapting and automating technical means in community service, which achieve social leadership that has an impact on sustainable social development.
