Sharjah 24: On the occasion of the Arab Theatre Day, celebrated on the tenth of January 2022, the Arab Theater Institute issued a series of theatrical publications, including a new book by the Egyptian playwright, Al Sayed Hafez, entitled “Al Sayed Hafez's theatrical Psalms”, which is classified in a series of texts under (No. 27).
The Moroccan play researcher Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ramdani, in the book introduction, describing Al Sayed Hafez, said that as if the author wants to summarize all his thoughts or dreams in paintings, sometimes they turn into flashes or banners that are a reminder of the satirical poet Ahmed Matar.

Al Sayed Hafez book contains thirty-four theatrical psalms, varying in size, distinguished by condensation and coding, they are precise theatrical instructions, and specific visual scenes.
The shortest text is half a page and the longest does not exceed six pages.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ramdani describes the author’s style in these texts as absurd, whereas he presents events, characters and situations in a way that raises eyebrows, and presents a language that does not fit with the usual use of linguistic structures, or with its semantic dimensions that it suggests.

Among the titles of the theatrical psalms contained in Al Sayed Hafez's theatrical achievement, we find (We may succeed - Psalms from the language of silence, the psalm - the word land the land of the word - the struggle of colours - the statue in the field - the night of January 28, 2011 - a play "A talk about a man" - the drama is a smoke signal in a dark theatre.)
