Sharjah 24: The Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Department of Family Development Centres, is preparing to present the play “The Door” at the Cultural Palace Theatre in Sharjah on October 31 and November 1, which will also be shown in Khorfakkan on the fourth of same month.
The play was written by Salha Ghabish and directed by Khaleda Majid. The music is by Laila Abu Zekry. Members of the Family Theatre Troupe, artist Nabil Al Mazmi and artist Fatima Al Balushi, are starring in the play.
The idea of the play aims to consolidate the role of families in educating and directing children to take advantage of social media and modern technology and employ them for their benefit, in light of the influence of the virtual world over the new generation and its impact on family interdependence.
