Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) received the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in its 19th edition for the government service sector, in appreciation of its commitment to achieving excellence of performance in all its operations.
This came during the closing ceremony of the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence, which was held at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
SDPW celebrated, Thursday, at its headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah, winning the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in its 19th edition - for the government service sector, in the presence of His Excellency Eng. Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of SDPW, and a group of employees.
His Excellency expressed great pride in this important award, which embodies the importance of hard work, outstanding commitment and high performance for each employee in the department.
His Excellency stated that winning this prestigious award consolidates SDPW leading position in the urban sector, and is a key player in the urban development witnessed by the UAE.
His Excellency added that SDPW is proud to be honoured with this prestigious award in recognition of its achievements, which have been accomplished as a result of the hard work, dedication and commitment of the entire team.
