Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) has begun work on the first phase of the lands' levelling in Al Shanouf neighbourhood, north of Al Zubair district in Al Muhathab suburb, to improve infrastructure and provide a decent life for citizens in accordance with directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The project reflects the leadership's desire to offer appropriate housing and improve people' well-being and happiness through housing projects that are stable and community-oriented.
The initiative would benefit a substantial segment of the Emirate's citizens who are awaiting the distribution of residential lands, as stated by His Excellency Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW).
The department started levelling around 3000 plots in the Al Shanouf neighbourhood, and the rest of the areas would be settled in stages, based on professional studies.
