Sharjah 24: On the occasion of Emirati Women's Day, the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), as part of the Social Illumination Programme, organised a dialogue session entitled "Emirati Women's Leadership in a Time of Challenges", With the participation of Dr. Majida Al Azazi, Chairman of M Glory Holding, to talk about the many achievements of Emirati women.
At the beginning of the session, which was held "virtually" via the electronic communication platform Zoom, Dr. Al Azazi spoke about the role of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), the "Mother of the UAE", in paving the path for Emirati women, and establishing their position locally and globally.
Dr. Al Azazi maintained that the UAE has promoted and supported women in many fields, which has made Emirati women today in an outstanding position.
Dr. Al Azazi added that despite the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Emirati women have continued their work, developing their capabilities to adapt to exceptional circumstances, transforming challenges into opportunities, and striving continuously to advance their work.
