Sharjah24: Sharjah Social Services Department revealed that it has decided on 2,124 social assistance requests during this year 2021, based on its social responsibility towards individuals and groups concerned with their affairs, with the aim of providing the best and finest services.
Alia Al Zaabi, Director of the Social Aid Department, stated that this decision is not new to the department, which spares no effort to serve customers and beneficiaries of its services, but rather improve and develop many services to advance the members of society, in addition to the directives of the wise leadership of the Government of Sharjah, to work on the sustainability of this services and their development to achieve a society that enjoys prosperity for its citizens.
Al Zaabi added, "During the pandemic, we created appropriate channels to provide services, taking into account the preservation of the health of the beneficiaries of the services of the department, who number 9,377 beneficiaries of various groups eligible for assistance."
At the same time, we were keen to consolidate community partnerships with many institutions and departments in the country, through an integrated system to provide in coordination with these authorities.
