Sharjah 24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) renewed the international accreditation of the medical fitness centre laboratory, according to the specification for medical laboratories ISO 15189:2012, for the third year in a row.
This comes due to the laboratories of medical fitness centres use of modern and advanced equipment and highly qualified and efficient technical cadres, through which SM is working to issue a certificate free of communicable diseases and issue occupational health cards.
In addition to checking the accuracy and quality of results and the level of technical qualification of technicians and the accuracy of analysis devices and systems, with the extent of conformity of the analysis process according to the specifications of medical laboratories.
SM indicated that it has achieved another achievement by obtaining the licence of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation for all radiology divisions in the Public Health Services Department, as a culmination of its success in raising safety standards and providing its services with high quality.
