Sharjah 24: After the completion of the audit and evaluation process by the "Lloyd's Register" company, the Sharjah Municipality (SM) announced the renewal of the ISO certificate (ISO27001:2013) for the global information security management system (ISMS) for a period of three years.
The renewal came after SM had ensured that all procedures and systems followed were in compliance with its objective to achieve operational and institutional excellence, as well as to follow best practices in diverse domains, with the norms and conditions of the recognised international certificate, which ensures the quality and continuity of company performance.

The municipality also offers training courses, workshops, and awareness leaflets to all of its employees on a regular basis in order to educate them in cyber security and information security preservation.

The municipality has developed the "Amin" platform for smart awareness information security, with the goal of increasing staff awareness of cybersecurity, preserving all workflow-related information and data, and defending institutions against any cyber-attacks.
