Sharjah 24: The Building Permit Department at Sharjah Municipality completed more than 3859 transactions during the first half of 2021, using digital systems to provide high-quality services that save customers’ time and effort, in line with Sharjah directions towards stimulating investment.
In this context, Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, Director of the Building Permit Department, confirmed that the Municipality is keen to achieve the visions and directions of the emirate in enhancing its role as an investment destination providing services and facilities to investors, through digital and smart services that save time and effort. He also added that the engineering and buildings sector is working to develop services through cooperation and partnerships with the private and academic sectors.
Sheikh Eng. Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi explained that the Municipality is keen to provide services through the website and smart applications, whereas customers can complete services easily, noting that the first half of 2021 saw the completion of 3859 transactions through the Building Permit Department.
The Director of the Building Permit Department concluded that the Municipality is always keen to improve the efficiency of engineers, consulting offices and those interested in the engineering community through various training courses and workshops, which include introducing new services.
