The workshop was presented by director Obaid Al-Hamoudi, who indicated that he was one of the graduates of the Sharjah Youth Programme nearly 12 years ago, whereas he learned many skills and experiences that qualified him to participate with a movie on the global "Netflix" platform.
Al-Hamoudi explained that the workshop allowed him to share his experiences and skills with his young peers, which contributes to the transfer of knowledge, ensures the continuity of learning and exchange of experiences.
Al-Hamoudi discussed a number of issues in relation to the film, sources of inspiration, characters, past, details, development, how they speak and their path, pointing to the importance of defining the qualities and characteristics that the screenwriter would like to highlight.
The affiliates learned about the importance of selecting the movie name in order to attract the audience's attention, with the need to delve into the details of the film. They also learned about the types of scriptwriting methods, in addition to the plot, the dramatic sequence of the film, and concluding with research and references.
The participants raised a number of questions to the trainer, and listened with passion and interest to the answers in an interactive atmosphere providing them many skills and experiences.
