Sharjah 24: Sharjah Youth, an affiliate of the 'Rubu' Qarn - Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is holding its virtual camp "Your Summer with Us", in two batches from July 4 to August 11, as part of its development strategy to develop members' skills and refine their talents and qualify them to lead the future.
The camp's goal is to engage "Sharjah Youth" members in useful activities during their summer vacation and to involve them in a variety of programmes that help them develop their knowledge and skills, as well as enhancing their abilities at a cultural and artistic levels. The camp gives them an active opportunity to learn life and self-development skills.
In collaboration with various community organisations and institutions, the camp provides a wide range of activities and workshops. Many virtual programmes and workshops address Sharjah-based projects and initiatives, the foundations of innovation and creativity at the regional and global levels, the skills required to start a business, and presentation skills, persuasion and public speaking, cloud seeding in the UAE, agricultural and hydroponic methods, modern leadership concept, recycling, and perfume industry.
Among the activities are an array of art workshops using various techniques, as well as theatrical programmes and sections dedicated to reading and books.
In an interactive virtual programme titled "Internal Tourism," participants will tour the most important tourist attractions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
By visiting the website www.shjyouth.ae, filling out the membership form, and registering for the camp, the members can virtually join “Sharjah Youth” and participate in the "Your Summer with Us" camp.
