Sharjah24: Engineer Alaa Salem Al Jarwan in the branch of the Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) in Khorfakkan revealed that the department is nearing completion and delivery of a package of service projects in the city and its affiliated areas.
Al Jarwan explained, in exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, the completion of the new building project for the Department of Economic Development in Khorfakkan, and a completion rate equivalent to 90% of the construction work of the university branch expansion project in the city, which includes an administrative building, a college for boys and a college for girls.
She added that the new Khorfakkan municipal abattoir project is about to be delivered, in addition to the municipal nursery project in the Al-Hari area, which in turn is in the process of finalizing.
Within the framework of neighborhood gardens projects, Al Jarwan noted that the Al Mudafi park project is nearing completion, while work is underway to establish a similar park in the Yarmouk neighborhood.
As part of the department’s strategy to provide all service facilities to the mountainous areas, it is supervising the construction project of the Sheis Health Center, which is nearing completion, while achieving a completion rate of 60% of the total construction works for Al Nahwa Nursery, which can accommodate 40 children.
