Sharjah24: His Excellency Engineer Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Public Works, confirmed that the department, in cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council, has carried out a variety of maintenance works in Al Hamriyah, Al Dhaid and Kalba Sports and Cultural Clubs, as part of the department’s plans to meet the council’s needs and in line with its continuous support.
He said that the department follows up all the work of new facilities, development and maintenance through the building maintenance departments and branches through daily and continuous follow-up to the Council's requirements and direct communication through meetings and field visits to directly identify the requirements and work to implement the plans set.

Al Suwaidi added that the work of the emirate’s clubs continues in cooperation with the Sports Council to preserve its distinctive infrastructure, and stressed that the work that is done is a permanent indication of the great interest it receives, and the keenness to set an example in the excellence of infrastructure, various service facilities, distinguished gyms and facilities. He pointed out that the department is keen to follow up everything related to construction, maintenance and development work in the emirate's clubs, in cooperation with the Sharjah Sports Council, in order to rehabilitate the clubs' buildings, services and infrastructure to raise them to the level of excellence and high efficiency.

His Excellency valued the great cooperation of the Sharjah Sports Council and its efforts regarding sports facilities and clubs, ensuring the progress of work and equipping the clubs as required.
