SDPW obtains latest ISO certification in TSM System

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) recently obtained the International Standard for Information Technology Services Management (TSM) (ISO / IEC 20000-1: 2018) certification, due to its distinguished commitment to the quality of electronic services management in accordance with the best approved standards, and international practices in force in services management.
The ISO certification reflects the distinguished efforts of the Department's Information Technology Center in adopting the best international practices and management systems in its technical services management system, highlighting the great role of the professionalism of the SDPW’s work team, contributing in promoting the development of the technical performance efficiency at the various functional levels.
Commenting on this, Eng. Hessa Al-Mail, Director of the Information Technology Center in the Department, explained that the Department's obtaining the International Standard for Information Technology Services Management of Information Technology Services (ISO / IEC 20000-1: 2018) reflects its keenness to apply the highest international standards and adopt best practices.
She has further underscored the importance of the Department's efforts in obtaining this prestigious international certificate, stressing that it comes as a result of the SDPW’s continuous keenness to keep abreast of developments in various fields to achieve the highest level of institutional excellence and to enhance the country's competitiveness in accordance with the aspirations of the wise leadership.
