Sharjah24: In the presence of His Excellency Dr. Suleiman Sarhan Al Zaabi, Chairman of Kalba Municipal Council, members of the Council, and Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Director of Kalba Municipality; on Sunday, the field campaign to distribute state flags in the city was launched, which is organised by the municipality for the fifth year in a row in cooperation with the council.

Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Director of Kalba Municipality, said in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the campaign comes as part of the municipality's preparations for the country's celebrations of the Flag Day and the 50th National Day.

He explained that the campaign, in which a crowd of volunteers and municipality employees participate amid intensive precautionary measures, aims to distribute about 7,500 flags to the various institutions of Kalba and all its residential neighborhoods.

Al Naqbi pointed out that the campaign continues its work for two weeks daily, covering all areas of the city, and it is a campaign to enhance the feeling of loyalty and belonging and bring joy and happiness to the people.
