Sharjah Women's Sports prepares for the new season 2021/2022

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation organised, Monday, the annual ceremony to prepare for the new sports season 2021/2022 attended by 200 female athletes under the slogan “Sportsmanship”, aiming at encouraging female athletes and contributing to their positive energy.
The ceremony celebrated the last exceptional sports season, in which Sharjah Women's Sports clubs won a number of cups and medals, and achieved the best results in a number of competitions at the local and international levels.

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Hind Al Hosani, all the players of Sharjah Women's Sports clubs, the administrative staff, and the club's technical staff.

The representative of the Sharjah Women's Sports Club explained that Sharjah Women's Sports is keen to enhance women's sports in Sharjah and the UAE through Sharjah Women's Sports initiatives and strategies, stressing that this step contributes to opening up more space for women talents and energies to improve their capabilities. 

Al Hosani added that Sharjah Women's Sports honours champions who will play a great role in the future of women's sports in Sharjah and the UAE, and Sharjah Women's Sports assures that it will spare no effort to support players.

Hind Al Hosani indicated that the women's sports teams made many achievements during the last sports season 2020/2021, as the total number of medals won reached 47 medals in different local, regional and international tournaments, including 11 gold medals, 17 silver medals, and 19f bronze medals.

Al Hosani said that the annual ceremony aims at honouring women achievements, in line with the Sharjah Women's Sports approach to value and appreciate the efforts of outstanding players who participated in different tournaments and games.

She Concluded that Sharjah Women's Sports has prepared well for the launch of the new sports season.
