Al Qayoudi said the initiative includes the distribution of free seedlings of fruit-bearing trees and a variety of plants, including date palms, fe'i trees, almond trees, mulberry trees and fig trees, enabling residents to grow them at home and benefit from their produce.
She explained that the initiative promotes a culture of agriculture and sustainability, contributes to the beautification of the city, and encourages greater community participation in protecting the environment.
Al Qayoudi added that the initiative reflects Khorfakkan Municipality's commitment to supporting sustainable environmental programmes that enhance quality of life and foster environmental responsibility across the community.
