Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the ceremony was organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) at Expo Centre Sharjah. It recognised the award recipients, including local and Gulf-based institutions, entrepreneurs, and business establishments, for their outstanding achievements and exceptional institutional performance across various sectors.

Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi also recognised strategic partners, sponsors, members of the judging panel, and the award’s organising team in acknowledgement of their valuable contributions and their role in ensuring the continued success and credibility of the Sharjah Excellence Award.
A total of 13 winners, including businesses and entrepreneurs, were recognised across the award’s eight categories. In the Sharjah Excellence Award category, the winners were Enoc Retail L.L.C - Sharjah Branch; Betec CAD Industries FZC; Anchor Allied Factory L.L.C; and National Cables Industry L.L.C.
Arabian Industries Group SAOC received the Sharjah Gulf Localisation Award, while the Sharjah Social Responsibility (CSR) Award was presented to Sharjah Police Sciences Academy and Sharjah Center For Learning Difficulties. In the Sharjah Small and Medium Enterprises Award category, both Green Prefab FZE and Anad For Feed Production Factory were recognised for their business achievements.
The Sharjah Entrepreneurs Award was awarded to Hassan Abd ElHamid Al Saed and Ahmed Khalifah Salem Alswuaidi. Alfan Saghayir Mubarak Markhan Al Ketbi won the Sharjah Entrepreneurs with Disability Award, while City Centre Al Zahia received the Sharjah Best Security Standards Award.
The official ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Chairman of the Sharjah Excellence Award’s Board of Trustees; His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police; and His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the Ajman Chamber Board of Directors.
Also present were His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA); His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD); His Excellency Saleh Al-Sharqi, Secretary General of the Federation of GCC Chambers; and His Excellency Humaid Mohammed Ben Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The event was also attended by several members of the Sharjah Chamber’s Board of Directors and the Sharjah Excellence Award’s Board of Trustees and His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, along with senior government officials; representatives of UAE Chambers and the Federation of GCC Chambers; as well as a large gathering of private-sector executives, businessmen, and entrepreneurs.
The ceremony opened with the UAE national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran.
His Excellency Abdallah Sultan Al Owais then delivered a keynote address, stating that the Sharjah Excellence Award has become a beacon that reflects the wise vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in fostering a dynamic business environment and supporting the knowledge-based economy.
He also conveyed his gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his generous patronage and sustained support, which has enabled the award to strengthen its position as a leading platform for economic and institutional excellence in Sharjah and the region.
Meanwhile, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi said that the 2025 edition of the award recorded strong participation, with the number of applicants rising to 144, representing a 15% increase compared with the previous edition. He noted that this growth serves as a clear indicator that organisational excellence has become a core strategic priority for participating entities and businesses.

Al-Awadi added that the award’s evaluation process was managed by a panel of 12 judges and 34 assessors, who carried out the assessment and selection stages in full compliance with the highest standards of transparency, impartiality, governance, and professional integrity.
For her part, Nada Al Hajri, General Coordinator of Sharjah Excellence Award, said that the 2025 edition attracted strong participation from businesses, institutions, and entrepreneurs across multiple sectors.
She noted that this high participation level underscores the award’s continued role in promoting institutional excellence and encouraging institutions to adopt best practices in performance management, innovation, and sustainability
The 2025 Sharjah Excellence Award’s eight categories were structured around the core principles of excellence and sustainability, spanning a broad spectrum of economic, developmental, and corporate social responsibility activities
These categories are: Sharjah Gulf Localisation Award, Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award, Sharjah Excellence Award, Sharjah Entrepreneurs Award, Sharjah Small and Medium Enterprises Award, Sharjah Social Responsibility Award, Sharjah Entrepreneurs with Disability Award, and Sharjah Best Security Standards Award.
