Jointly organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), the campaign is generating strong consumer interest through major promotional offers that form part of Sharjah’s wider summer season running until September 15, 2026.
The initiative is supported by strategic partnerships with government bodies, private sector entities, and key stakeholders, offering substantial discounts and exclusive deals on a wide range of products from leading local and international brands across malls, retail outlets, and shopping centres.
In collaboration with more than 55 public and private entities, the programme features over 60 customised tourism packages and activities for different age groups and preferences. It also gives shoppers and visitors the chance to win more than 700 prizes throughout the campaign.
This year’s edition includes wide participation from hotels, malls, retail stores, and entertainment destinations across Sharjah, marking a record 114 consecutive days of summer events for the first time. Early hotel promotions launched on May 25 offered discounted stays, paving the way for the current wave of retail and tourism offers.
The 2026 campaign features discounts of up to 75 percent across fashion, perfumes, accessories, electronics, home décor, and other retail categories. It also includes special offers on dining and hospitality services at restaurants, cafés, and hotels.
To strengthen the retail sector, participating businesses are benefiting from simplified and flexible commercial permits valid for three months, enabling them to expand promotional activities, boost sales, and support economic growth across the emirate.
Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, said the campaign is part of SCTDA’s strategy to create a unified summer tourism calendar showcasing Sharjah’s urban, coastal, and desert attractions while reinforcing its position as a leading destination for families and travellers.
He added that SCTDA continues to enhance visitor engagement through digital innovation, including the Sharjah Summer Promotions mobile application featuring augmented reality tools and electronic raffles to enrich the shopping and tourism experience.
Al Midfa noted that extending the campaign until mid-September reflects SCTDA’s strategy to maintain consistent tourism and economic activity throughout the summer, supported by collaboration with public and private partners.
Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, said the chamber has prioritised strengthening the retail sector by introducing flexible promotional permit systems that allow businesses to offer more competitive deals during the summer season.
He added that these measures support small and medium-sized enterprises by expanding their customer base and improving market competitiveness, while also increasing retail revenue and stimulating commercial activity across Sharjah.
This year’s edition includes 700 high-value prizes distributed through five major digital raffles starting from July 18.
The campaign aims to enhance Sharjah’s reputation as a leading family-friendly destination by combining entertainment, retail, and tourism experiences through wide participation from malls, hotels, and leisure destinations across the emirate.
