The award recognises their exceptional achievements and institutional performance across eight main categories in various economic and development sectors, having met international benchmarks.

This year’s edition further strengthens the award’s position as a trusted benchmark for institutional excellence and sustainable economic growth in the region. It received 144 submissions across its categories, marking a 15% increase and reflecting growing confidence from local, Gulf, and regional business communities due to its adoption of advanced international standards and expanded categories.

Digital platform and fourth-generation standards

This year, the award advanced its digital transformation by launching a new electronic platform that provides a smart and user-friendly experience, improving efficiency and flexibility for participants, evaluators, and judges. It also adopted a fourth-generation global evaluation model to ensure accuracy and objectivity in selecting winners, in line with international best practices.

The award categories cover various areas of the economic landscape and social responsibility, with strong competition across the Sharjah Gulf Localisation Award, Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award, Sharjah Excellence Award, Sharjah Entrepreneurship Award, Sharjah SME Award, Sharjah Social Responsibility Award, Sharjah Entrepreneurship Award for People with Disabilities, and the Sharjah Award for Best Establishment Meeting Security Standards.
