The discussion was led by Counsellor Majid Al Darmaki, Chief Prosecutor at Kalba Courts, who said that many family disputes can be contained if they are addressed early before positions harden.
He said open communication between family members is one of the most effective ways to prevent escalation and outlined practical approaches to lower the heat and foster dialogue before things get worse. He spoke about practical ways of encouraging open communication between family members, with the aim of preventing disagreements from escalating further.

It also sits within the broader goals of UAE Family Year 2026, which promotes stronger family cohesion and long-term social stability.
