The awards ceremony was attended by His Excellency Engineer Adel Saleh Al Hammadi, Member of the Sharjah Sports Council; His Excellency Abdulmalik Jani, Chairman of the Organising Committee; His Excellency Issa bin Huwaiden, Member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Judo Federation; His Excellency Dr Nasser Al Tamimi, Secretary General of the Federation; His Excellency Mohammed Al Sajwani, Assistant Secretary General; and Bakheet Saeed Al Qurs, Deputy Director of the Games and Deputy Director of the General Supervision Office.
The judo competition featured juniors and youth across twenty different weight classes. A total of 280 players participated in front of a large audience, and winners of the top three places in each category were awarded medals for their outstanding performance.
In the professional calisthenics category, Omar Abdul Sattar took first place, followed by Angelo Jovic in second and Hossam Tariq in third. In the amateur category, Harmstorsen secured first place, Abdullah Mohammed came in second, and Adel Jimmy finished third. World champion and content creator Andrea was also honored during the competition.
The 3x3 junior basketball tournament concluded with Sharjah Club winning first place and the gold medals. Al Hamriya Club finished second, while Khorfakkan Club secured third place.
In beach soccer, Kalba advanced to the final after defeating Al Noumour 7-4, while Al Humaidi achieved a resounding victory over Emirates "B" with a score of 13-1.
Boxing qualifiers began as athletes competed for a chance to be honored among the top finishers on the final day of the games.
The fifth edition of the Kalba Beach Games will conclude with champions crowned in eight competitions, including football, archery, boxing, rowing, men’s volleyball, 3x3 youth basketball, karate, and wrestling. The football final will see Kalba face Al Humaidi in a repeat of last year’s final, kicking off at 7:30 PM.
As part of the accompanying events, a sea cleanup campaign will take place under the supervision of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club in cooperation with Bee’ah Company. Professional divers will participate to support environmental sustainability and the UAE’s vision for marine protection. The campaign will run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
